Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina to visit India in October

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit India in October to discuss issues of mutual interest including the issue of water sharing of common rivers.

This was announced in Dhaka by the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh AK Abdul Momen.

It will be Sheikh Hasina's first visit to India after assuming office for the third consecutive term.

The agenda of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina visit will include discussions on "all bilateral and regional issues, including sharing of water in 54 common rivers and the Teesta in particular,"
