Huawei launches its own Operating System HarmonyOS

Chinese telecom giant Huawei Technologies launched its own operating system called HarmonyOS or HongMeng in Chinese. It was announced by the Richard Yu, head of Huawei's consumer business at a press conference in Dongguan.

The first version of the OS will be launched later in 2019 in its smart screen products.
