NCP leader Ajit Pawar sworn in as deputy CM of Maharashtra

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. This is the first cabinet expansion of Uddhav Thackeray-led Mahavikas Aghadi Government in Maharashtra.

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly inducted 36 Ministers. Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray became the first member of the family to take oath as a Minister in the State Cabinet.
