Tokyo Olympics 2020: India's star badminton player PV Sindhu won bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 by defeating B.J. He of China 21-13, 21-15. This is India's second medals so far in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Earlier Mirabai Chanu won the Silver Medal for India in weightlifting

PV Sindhu easily defeated China's  B.J. He in  just 52 minutes. 

PV Sindhu is the first Indian woman to won two Olympic medals

PV Sindhu became the first Indian woman player to win two consecutive medals in the Olympic Games. And with this she is the second athlete from India to do so after wrestler Sushil Kumar.

PV Sindhu had earlier won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and Wrestler Sushil Kumar won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

Chen Yufei of China won the gold medal in badminton 

PV Sindhu won the bronze medal while Chen Yufei of China won the gold medal. She defeated Tai Tzu-ying of Chinese Taipei 21-18, 19-21, 21-18 in the final to capture the gold medal. Tai Tzu-ying defeated PV Sindhu to make it to the final match.
