PM Modi attends ‘Rashtra Raksha Samparpan Parv’ in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh     

Uttar Pradesh Elections 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended ‘Rashtra Raksha Samparpan Parv’ in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated several new initiatives of the Ministry of Defence to the Nation in a grand ceremony celebrating ‘Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv’ organised in the precincts of Jhansi Fort. 

These projects include Launch of NCC Alumni Association, the Prime Minister was registered as the first member of the association; Launch of National Programme of Simulation Training for NCC Cadets; Kiosk to pay tribute to the fallen heroes at National War Memorial; Mobile app of National War Memorial; DRDO
Designed and Developed Advanced Electronic Warfare Suite ‘Shakti’ for Indian Naval Ships; Light Combat Helicopter and drones.

PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of the Rs 400 crore project of Bharat Dynamics Ltd at Jhansi Node of the UP Defence Industrial Corridor.

The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of the 600 MW Ultramega Solar Power Park at Garautha in Jhansi. It is being constructed at a cost of over Rs 3000 crore, and will help provide the dual benefits of cheaper electricity and grid stability. 

The Prime Minister also inaugurated Atal Ekta Park in Jhansi. Named after Former Prime Minister Shri Atal
Bihari Vajpayee, the park has been built at a cost of over Rs 11 crore, and is spread across an area of about 40,000 square metre. It will also house a library, as well as a statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The statue has been built by the renowned sculptor Shri Ram Sutar, the man behind the Statue of Unity.


PM Modi inaugurates various developmental projects in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh  

Uttar Pradesh Elections 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the Nation various developmental projects in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. These projects will help alleviate the issue of water shortage in the region.

These projects include the Arjun Sahayak Project, Ratauli Weir Project, Bhaoni Dam Project and Majhgaon–Chilli Sprinkler Project. The cumulative cost of these projects is more than Rs. 3250 Crore. These projects will also provide potable drinking water to the region Governor Smt Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, State Ministers were among those present on the occasion.


MSME Minister Narayan Rane launched Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (SCLCSS) for Services Sector 

Union Minister for MSME Narayan Rane launched the Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (SCLCSS) for services sector.

The scheme will help in meeting the technology related requirements of enterprises in the services sector and has a provision of 25% capital subsidy for procurement of Plant & Machinery and service equipments through institutional credit to the SC-ST MSEs without any sector specific restrictions on technology upgradation.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate IFSCA’s InFinity Forum on 3rd Dec 2021 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the “InFinity Forum”, a 2-day thought leadership Forum on FinTech, on 3rd December 2021.

The event is being hosted by International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) under the aegis of Government of India (GoI) in collaboration with GIFT City and Bloomberg on December 3 and 4, 2021, in virtual mode. Indonesia, South Africa and the U.K. are partner countries in the first edition of the Forum.

Key Highlights

The agenda of the Forum will focus on the theme of ‘Beyond’; with various sub themes including:

  • FinTech beyond boundaries with governments and businesses focussing beyond the geographical boundaries in the development of global stack to promote financial inclusiveness;
  • FinTech beyond Finance by having convergence with emerging areas such as SpaceTech, GreenTech and AgriTech to drive sustainable development.
  • FinTech Beyond Next with focus on how Quantum Computing could impact the nature of Fintech industry in the future and promote new opportunities. Each of the themes extends the realm of FinTech beyond boundaries, keeping in line with the overarching spirit of the event.


India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 115.79 Cr; Recovery Rate currently at 98.29%

With the administration of 51,59,931 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 115.79 Cr (1,15,79,69,274) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.

The recovery of 11,787 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,39,09,708.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.29%. 10,302 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The Active Caseload presently stands at 1,24,868. Active cases presently constitute 0.36% of the country's total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March 2020.

The Weekly Positivity Rate at 0.93% remains less than 2% for the last 57 days now. The Daily Positivity rate reported to be 0.96%. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 47 days and below 3% for 82 consecutive days now.
