Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz clinched the Madrid Open title 2022, beating defending champion Alexander Zverev. Carlos Alcaraz defeated second seed Alexander Zverev of Germany 6-3, 6-1 in 62 minutes in the men's singles final.

19-year-old Alcaraz beat Rafael Nadal and world No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic on his way to the Madrid Open 2022 final match.

Earlier, Tunisia's Ons Jabeur clinched women's singles title to become the first African player to win a WTA 1000 event.

स्पेन के टेनिस स्टार कार्लोस अल्कराज ने गत चैंपियन अलेक्जेंडर ज्वेरिव को हराकर मैड्रिड ओपन का खिताब जीता।  कार्लोस अल्कराज ने पुरुष एकल फाइनल में जर्मनी के दूसरी वरीयता प्राप्त अलेक्जेंडर ज्वेरिव को 62 मिनट में 6-3, 6-1 से हरा दिया.  

19 साल के अल्कराज ने फाइनल में पहुंचने के लिए राफेल नडाल और दुनिया के नंबर 1 टेनिस खिलाड़ी नोवाक जोकोविच को हराया।
