CWG-2022: Mohit Grewal clinches Bronze in Wrestling at Birmingham Commonwealth Games
Commonwealth Games 2022: Wrestler Mohit Grewal clinched a bronze medal in Men's Freestyle 125kg wrestling event at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games (CWG 2022).
With this, India’s medal tally reaches 26 with 9 golds, 6 silvers and 11 bronze medals.

Mohit Grewal competes in 125kg weight category and won bronze in 2022 Bolat Turlykhanov Cup (2nd Ranking series, Kazakhstan). Mohit Grewal has been into various sports since the beginning and pursued swimming and judo before focusing completely on wrestling.
Mohit Grewal won a bronze medal in Junior Asian Championship 2018. A serious knee injury, however, forced him out of the wrestling mat for almost two years. Mohit made a winning return in 2021 when he won gold at the U-23 national championships.
Mohit Grewal also competed in the bronze medal play-off at the U-23 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. Coming back to the country, he reached the final of the 2021 senior national championships in November and ended with a silver medal.
