US Open 2022: In Tennis, World Number One Iga Swiatek of Poland won her first US Open title after defeating Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur in the Women's Singles final at the USTA Billie City Jean King National Tennis Center in New York, US.  

Top seed Iga Swiatek defeated Ons Jabeur 6-2, 7-6 in the US Open 2022 final match.

Iga Swiatek is the first Polish woman to win the US Open tennis tournament. It is her 10th career title and third grand slam.

Prior this, the world number one 21-year-old Iga Swiatek had won the French Open in 2020 and 2022.
