NPCI Bharat BillPay launches NOCS platform to process ONDC transactions
The National Payments Corporation of India’s (NPCI) subsidiary, NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd (NBBL) has launched the NOCS platform to provide reconciliation and settlement services for transactions undertaken on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) network.
3 new conservation reserves declared in Rajasthan
The Forest Department, Government of Rajasthan announced 3 new Conservation Reserves in Rajasthan. The 3 new wildlife conservation reserves are Sorsan in Baran, Khichan in Jodhpur, and Hamirgarh in Bhilwara.
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh to visit Maldives from May 1-3
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh will pay an official visit to the Maldives from May 01-03, 2023.
Key Highlights
During the visit, Rajnath Singh will hold bilateral talks with his Maldivian counterpart Ms Mariya Ahmed Didi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Abdulla Shahid.
The entire gamut of defence relations between the two countries will be reviewed during the deliberations. The Raksha Mantri will also call on Maldivian President Mr Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
PM Modi inaugurates NAMO Medical Education and Research Institute
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the NAMO Medical Education and Research Institute at Silvassa town in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
PM Modi also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 96 projects worth more than Rs 4,850 crores at Sayli ground, Silvassa.

It is yet another milestone for India's premier men's doubles duo as they clinch India's second-ever Badminton Asia Championships title after Dinesh Khanna in 1965.
India's Sumit Nagal wins Rome ATP Challenger title
Indian Sumit Nagal became the first Indian to win an ATP Challenger title on European clay court when he beat Jesper de Jong in the final of the Rome Garden Open 2023.
The 25-year-old Nagal defeated de Jong, more than 100 places above the Indian in the ATP singles rankings, 6-3 6-2 to clinch his third ATP Challenger title.
