IAF appoints Air Marshal Tejinder Singh As Deputy Chief of Air Staff
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has appointed Air Marshal Tejinder Singh as the new Deputy Chief of the Air Force in New Delhi on 01 September 2024. He replaced Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, who has been appointed as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Air Command (AOC-in-C).

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh took over the appointment of Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (DCAS) at Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhawan), New Delhi with effect from 01 Sep 2024.
Prior to his present appointment, Air Marshal Tejinder was the Senior Air Staff Officer, Headquarters Eastern Air Command of IAF at Shillong, Meghalaya.
About Deputy Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Tejinder Singh
An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Air Marshal Tejinder was commissioned in the fighter stream of the IAF on 13 June 1987.
He is a Category 'A' Qualified Flying Instructor with over 4500 hours of flying, an alumnus of Defence Service Staff College and National Defence College.

In recognition of his meritorious services Air Marshal Tejinder Singh was awarded the Vayu Sena Medal in 2007 and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal in 2022, by the Hon'ble President of India.
