IPS Kumar Rajesh Chandra appointed as new Director-General of SSB

Kumar Rajesh Chandra, an IPS officer of the 1985 batch was appointed as the new Director General of the (DG) Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

IPS Kumar Rajesh Chandra Chandra will succeed S.S. Deswal.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Kumar Rajesh Chandra, IPS (BH:85), presently working as DG, BCAS to the post of DG, SSB from the date of joining of the post and upto 31.12.2021 i.e. date of his retirement on superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
