Asian Games 2018: Fouaad Mirza, Team India win silver medals in Equestrian

India's Fouaad Mirza won a silver medal at the Equestrian Jumping Final at the 18th edition of the Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta. 

Fouaad Mirza became the first Indian to win an Asian Games individual medal in the equestrian event since 1982.

Mirza won the silver medal in individual jumping with a score of 26.40. Japan’s Oiwa Yoshiaki won the gold medal with a score of 22.70. China’s Hua Tian won the bronze medal, with a score of 27.10.
 

In the team event, India, comprising Fouaad Mirza, Ashish Malik, Rakesh Kumar Jitender Singh wins a silver medal at the Equestrian Jumping team event at the 18th edition of the Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta.
 

Thailand finished third with 126.70 points. Japan finished the first spot.
