India's First Pollinator Park inaugurates in Haldwani, Uttarakhand

India's first Pollinator Park with over 40 species of butterflies, birds and insects has been inaugurated over four acres at Nainital's Haldwani, Uttarakhand

India's first Pollinator Park in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, developed by the research wing of the Uttarakhand Forest Department, the colourful park was inaugurated by renowned butterfly expert Peter Smetacek.

Objective - India's First Pollinator Park inaugurates in Haldwani, Uttarakhand

The main objective of developing the Pollinator Park inaugurates in Haldwani, Uttarakhand is to protect different pollination species, to create awareness among the importance of conservation of these species and promote research on various aspects of pollination, in which the danger and pollution on per commissioners.

According to Sanjeev Chaturvedi, Chief Conservator of Forest (Research), there are currently 40 species of pollinators in the park, including Common Zezabel, Common Immigrant, Red Pier Rot, Common Sailor, Plain Tiger, Common Leopard, Common Moran, Common Grass Yellow, Common Blue Bottle, Common Four Ring, Peacock.
