IAS Arvind Shrivastava Appointed As Secretary, Department of Revenue

Former IAS officer Arvind Shrivastava has been appointed Secretary in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 18th April 2025 appoints Arvind Shrivastava as the Secretary, Department of Revenue. Prior to this appointment, Shrivastava had served as Joint Secretary and then Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office. Shrivastava is a 1994 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Karnataka cadre.

Former IAS officer Arvind Shrivastava, took charge as the Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance. He replaced Ajay Seth as Secretary, Department of Revenue

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 18th April 2025 appoints Shrivastava as the Secretary, Department of Revenue.

Arvind Shrivastava took over the appointment of Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance at Cabinet Secretariat Raisina Hill, New Delhi with effect from 1st May 2025.

Prior to this appointment, Srivastava had served as Joint Secretary and then Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office.

About Arvind Shrivastava Secretary, Department of Revenue

Arvind Shrivastava is a 1994 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Karnataka cadre. 

Shrivastava has also served as Joint Secretary, in the Budget Division of the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. He has also served as Development Officer in the Asian Development Bank.

Arvind has also served as Secretary, Finance Department Bengaluru; Secretary, Urban Development Department, Bengaluru and Managing Director in the Urban Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation, Karnataka.
