Asian Games 2018: Neeraj Chopra become first Indian javelin thrower to win gold at asian games
Neeraj Chopra clinched the gold medal after create a new record 88.06 m as his best throw, breaking his own national record of 87.43 m at the 18th edition of the Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta.
This is the also the first Gold in Javelin for India at the Asian Games.
Neeraj first throw cover a distance of 83.46 m, his second throw which was called foul. Neeraj third throw a record-breaking 88.06m.
Neeraj Chopra’s previously national record of 87.43, which he earned at the Doha Diamond League in May.
