Suman Rao 20-year-old from Rajasthan becomes the Miss India 2019; beauty pageant during a star-studded ceremony at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai.

Femina Miss India 2019 is the 56th edition of Miss India beauty pageant.

Miss India 2018, Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu crowned her successor Suman Rao as the Miss India 2019.

Miss India 2019 winner Suman Rao will represent India in Miss World 2019, which will be held in Thailand on December 7 this year.

First runner-up of Miss India 2019 is Shinta Chauhan, who is from Uttar Pradesh, and second runner-up Sanjana Vij was honored, who is from Telangana.

The event was adjudged by Miss World 2018 Vanessa Pondel, Bollywood choreographer Remo D’Souza Actress Huma Qureshi, Chitrangada Singh, fashion designer Falguni Shane Peacocka Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri runner Dutty Chand, actor Ayush Sharma, were included in the panel of judges.
