Karnam Sekar takes over as new MD and CEO of IOB

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), has appointed Karnam Sekar as its new Managing Director (MD)and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He replaces R Subramaniakumar.

His appointment will come into effect on July 1, 2019.

Prior to this appointment, Karnam Sekar was MD & CEO of Dena Bank.

Karnam Sekar was on Special Duty and has been a whole-time director of the Indian Overseas Bank since April 2019.
