  • The Sangeet Natak Akademi announced the names of 32 young Indian artistes conferred the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for 2018.
  • The Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar is conferred upon artists below the age of 40 years with the objective of identifying and encouraging outstanding young talents in diverse fields of performing arts and giving them national recognition early in their life, so that they may work with greater commitment and dedication in their chosen fields.

3. Health Ministry to launch a Jan Jagrukta Abhiyaan in Delhi to accelerate vector control measures
  • Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is all set to launch a special campaign in Delhi to sensitize and mobilise the community on measures for prevention and control of Vector Borne Diseases (VBDs) like Malaria, Dengue and Chikungunya. The three –day campaign will start from 17th July, 2019.
