Girraj Prasad Gupta takes over as the Controller General of Accounts

Girraj Prasad Gupta took over as the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) in the national capital, New Delhi.

Earlier, the Government of India had appointed, Mr. Girraj Prasad Gupta a 1983-batch Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) Officer, as the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance with effect from August 1, 2019.

Prior Girraj Prasad Gupta appointment, he worked at higher positions in the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Ministry of Rural Development, and Ministry of Finance.
