Moon Mission: ISRO releases first Moon image captured by Chandrayaan-2
ISRO Chandrayaan-2: The first picture of Moon captured by India's Chandrayaan-2 satellite, currently in the lunar orbit, was released by space agency Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
The image, captured from a height of 2,650km from the lunar surface, was taken by a camera on board lander Vikram.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) tweeted the image showing two significant Moon landmarks, the Apollo crater and the Mare Orientale basin.
