1. HRD Minister to launch a unique Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme (PMILP)- 'DHRUV'

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will launch the Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme- ‘DHRUV’ from Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Headquarters at Bengaluru on 10th October 2019.
The objective of the Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme program would be to allow talented students to realize their full potential and contribute to society.

2. President Ram Nath Kovind to visit Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat

The President of India Ram Nath Kovind, will visit Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat from October 9 to 13, 2019.
The President will leave for Maharashtra this evening (October 9, 2019) and present colour to the Army Aviation Corps in Nashik tomorrow (October 10, 2019). He will also visit the School of Artillery, Deolali, Nashik on the same day.
The President will reach Karnataka on October 10, 2019 and attend the birth centenary celebrations of Maharaja Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar of Mysore.
On October 13, 2019, the President will visit Shri Mahaveer Jain Aradhna Kendra in Koba, Gujarat.

3. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh holds talks with President of French Emmanuel Macron in Paris

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh held talks with President of the French Emmanuel Macron, in Paris on October 8, 2019. Raksha Mantri had arrived in Paris on Monday for a two-day official visit to France.
During the talks, the two leaders comprehensively discussed key aspects of bilateral defence partnership and resolved to continue strengthening the ties between the two countries.
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh will later participate in the Rafale fighter aircraft handing over ceremony at Merignac in Bordeaux along with French Minister of Armed Forces Ms Florence Parly.
Raksha Mantri is also scheduled to perform the ‘Shastra Puja’ on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami before flying a sortie in the Rafale fighter aircraft.

4. Dharmendra Pradhan participates in commissioning of infrastructure facilities for proposed oil refinery in Mongolia

Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan participated in the ceremony for commissioning the infrastructure facilities were constructed to support the proposed oil refinery project in Mongolia.
Prime Minister of Mongolia, Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, six Cabinet Ministers & Governor of Dornogovi Province, Mr. T. Enkhtuvsh in also participated in the ceremony.
