1. Ganeshi Lal, Governor, Odisha dedicates BPCL LPG Bottling Plant at Balangir to the Nation

The BPCL LPG Bottling plant at Balangir, Odisha was dedicated to the nation by Prof Ganeshi Lal, Governor, Odisha in the presence of Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel.
This plant has been completed in a record 19 months period, at a total project cost of Rs. 103 Crores.

2. CCI approves acquisition of shares in My Home Industries by My Home Constructions

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approves acquisition of shares in My Home Industries Private Limited by My Home Constructions Private Limited and its affiliates.
The proposed combination envisages acquisition of 50% of the shareholding of My Home Industries Private Limited (My Home Industries) by My Home Constructions Private Limited (MHCPL), Jupally Real Estate Developers Private Limited (JREDPL) and Dr Rameswar Rao Jupally.

3. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh launches DefExpo 2020 mobile app

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh launched the mobile app of the forthcoming DefExpo 2020. The app is available on Apple App Store and Android Play Store.
The main features of the app are ‘inform, engage and feedback’. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) announced a new milestone achieved by the Aadhaar project – crossing of the 125 crore mark. This means that over 1.25 billion residents of India have the 12-digit unique identity.

India's first university for transgender community will be opened in Fazilnagar block in UP’s (Uttar Pradesh) Kushinagar district.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has retained India’s economic growth forecast at 6.1 per cent for FY20.
IMF’s projection, given in its much-awaited country report on India under Article IV of the Fund, the report was released in Washington, United States (US).
