Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Campaign begins across India to promote cultural unity

An 18-day long 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' campaign has been launched to promote cultural unity across the country.

The campaign, being organised by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, will continue till 28th of this month.

The main objectives of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat include celebrating the Unity in Diversity of our nation and promoting the spirit of national integration through engagement between all states and union territories.



4th East Asia Summit (EAS) conference on maritime security cooperation 2020 held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India in partnership with the Governments of Australia and Indonesia will organize the fourth East Asia Summit (EAS) Conference on Maritime Security Cooperation in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on 6-7 February 2020.

This Conference is the fourth in a series of EAS Maritime Security Conferences organized by the Government of India; the first Conference was organized in New Delhi in November 2015, the second in Goa in November 2016 and the third in Bhubaneswar in June 2018.

The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) and the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) are the knowledge partners of the Conference.





Reserve Bank set to conduct Financial Literacy Week (FLW) 2020 from February 10–14

India’s central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is going to conduct the Financial Literacy Week (FLW) 2020 to propagate financial education messages on a particular theme across the country from February 10 – February 14, 2020.

 The theme selected for current year FLW is “Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The main objective of MSME theme will be on creating awareness about aspects relating to formalisation, collateral free loan, discounting of receivables, rehabilitation of stressed units and timely repayment.
