ADB to invest USD 100 million in Indian infrastructure sector through NIIF
Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced a 100 million US Dollars funding for the Indian infrastructure sector through the government-promoted National Investment and Infrastructure Fund-NIIF, of India Fund of Funds (FoF).
The investment announcement comes at a critical time for India, as the already sagging economic growth is feared to be taking a heavy hit due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The statement said, it has made commitments to three funds aggregating to over 2,600 crore rupees or 350 million dollars.
