India’s GDP growth rate may fall sharply to 2.6 % in 2020-21: SBI’s Ecowrap

According to a report titled “EcoWrap” released by the economic research team from State Bank of India (SBI), India’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth will fall sharply to 2.6 per cent in 2020-21 due to lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a report by SBI Research's Ecowrap, GDP growth for 2019-20 could also see a downward revision from 5 per cent to 4.5 per cent, with growth in the fourth quarter of the current financial year at 2.5 per cent.
