I. Historic MoU Signed between ISLRTC and NCERT for Converting Educational Materials in to Indian Sign Language
  1. A historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Indian Sign Language Research and Training Center-ISLRTC (a National Institute of DEPwD, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) and NCERT (a National Institute of Ministry of Education) to make education materials accessible for Deaf children in their preferred format of communication viz Indian Sign Language.


II. Nobel Prize in Physics 2020 awarded to 3 Scientists for discoveries about Black Hole
  1. Nobel Prize in Physics 2020: The Nobel Prize in Physics 2020 was divided, one half awarded to Roger Penrose "for the discovery that black hole formation is a robust prediction of the general theory of relativity", the other half jointly to Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez "for the discovery of a supermassive compact object at the centre of our galaxy."


III. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi lays foundation stone of new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Pakur in Jharkhand
  1. Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, that Union Ministry of Education is constructing 99 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in backward, weaker and Minority concentrated areas across the country for the first time in the history, and several of these Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are being constructed jointly by Union Ministry of Education and Union Ministry of Minority Affairs.
  2. Shri Naqvi along with Union Minister for Education Shri Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” today laid foundation stone for a new JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya at Pakur in Jharkhand through video conferencing. This school is being constructed by the Ministry of Minority Affairs under the “Pradhan Mantri Jan VikasKarykram” (PMJVK).


IV. IFFCO & Prasar Bharati sign MoU to broadcast and promote Agri technology and innovations for growth of Indian agriculture
  1. World’s biggest fertiliser cooperative, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) and Prasar Bharati on Monday signed a MoU to broadcast and promote new agriculture technology and innovations. The agreement was signed at a program organised in Prthivi Bhavan, New Delhi. 
  2. According to the agreement DD Kisan will broadcast various innovative techniques being adopted in agriculture field in easy language through 30 minutes program series for the benefit of farmers.


V. Dharmendra Pradhan dedicates 42 CNG Stations and 3 City Gate Stations
  1. Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Shri Dharmendra Pradhan today dedicated 42 CNG stations and 3 City Gate Stations of Torrent Gas to the service of the community. All CNG stations and City Gate Stations were connected through video conference during the event with the Minister.
  2. Torrent Gas has the authorization to lay City Gas Distribution network in 32 Districts across 7 States and 1 UT. These CNG stations are located across various states, including 14 in Uttar Pradesh, 8 in Maharashtra, 6 in Gujarat, 4 in Punjab and 5 each in Telangana and Rajasthan. The City Gate Stations include one each in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab.
