Assam govt. to launch Orunodoi scheme in Guwahati

Assam government launch the ‘Orunodoi’ scheme in Guwahati. Over 18 lakh families in the state will receive 830 rupees per month in their bank accounts under the scheme. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will launch the scheme in presence of Finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati.

The scheme will be rolled out in 29 districts at the moment, with 18.2 lakh beneficiaries. The scheme will be implemented in the four districts under BTC once the Council election process is over.

While the amount for the month of November will be credited today, the amount for December will be transferred in the last week of the month, and thereafter, it will be credited in the last week of every month.(inp: newsOnair)
