Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission    

In a historic initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The pilot project of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission had been announced by the Prime Minister from the ramparts of Red Fort on 15th August, 2020. Currently, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is being implemented in pilot phase in six Union Territories.

The nation-wide rollout of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission coincides with NHA celebrating the third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).

Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) visit to Oman from 27-29 Sep 2021  

Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), arrived in Oman for a three-day official visit from 27 – 29 Sep 21. The visit aims to consolidate bilateral defence relations with Oman, as also to explore new avenues for defence cooperation.

Indian Naval Ships and Aircraft Standby for Rescue and Relief Operations – Cyclonic Storm Gulab  

Cyclonic Storm Gulab: As the Cyclonic Storm ‘Gulab’ formed in the Bay of Bengal is expected to make landfall between North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coast in the next 12 hours, the Indian Navy is closely monitoring the movement of the Cyclonic Storm.

Sports Minister Anurag Thakur lays foundation stone of ZPEO, playfield; Inaugurates PMGSY road 

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur laid foundation stone of ZPEO and Zonal Play Field and inaugurated PMGSY road at Kichpora Kangan, Jammu & Kashmir.

The Sports Minister Anurag Thakur visited Kichpora Kangan where he laid foundation stone of Zonal Physical Education Office (ZPEO) and Development of Zonal Level Playfield approved at a cost of Rs 1.14 crore.

The Minister also visited Kangan where he inaugurated the 1.5 km PMGSY road constructed at the cost of Rs 136.67 lakh at Bonibagh Kangan connecting Bonibagh Bala habitation to the highway.

15 new Ministers take oath in Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s new Cabinet 

Fifteen Punjab Congress MLAs took oath as Ministers in Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s new Cabinet on Sunday. Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered the oath of office and secrecy at Punjab Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh

Brahm Mohindra was the first one to take oath, followed by Manpreet Badal. Among those sworn in are seven new faces-Amrinder Singh Raja Warring MLA from Gidderbaha, three-time MLA from Amritsar Dr Raj Kumar Verka, three-time MLA from Urmar Sangat Singh Gilzian, former minister and MLA from Jalandhar Cantt Pargat Singh, four-time MLA from Nabha Randeep Nabha, MLA from Khanna Gurkirat Kotli, besides former Irrigation minister and MLA from Kapurthala Rana Gurjit Singh.


India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage crosses the landmark of 86 Cr; Recovery Rate currently at 97.78%

With the administration of 38,18,362 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed the landmark of 86Cr (86,01,59,011) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 97.78%. Recovery Rate is currently at its highest peak since March 2020. 26,041 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.94% remains less than 3% for the last 94 days now. The Daily Positivity rate reported to be 2.24%. The daily Positivity rate has remained below3% for the last 28 days and below 5% for 111 consecutive days now.
