2. India to host India-Australia 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue Today

India will host the inaugural India-Australia 22 Ministerial Dialogue today. From the Indian side, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will lead the delegation which will comprise of officials from the Ministries of Defence and External Affairs.
Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne and Defence Minister Peter Dutton will lead the Australian delegation.

With the administration of 65,27,175 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, country’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage surpassed the cumulative figure of 73 Cr. landmark milestone (73,05,89,688) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.
Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 97.49%. 33,376 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
