1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

In a historic initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The pilot project of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission had been announced by the Prime Minister from the ramparts of Red Fort on 15th August, 2020. Currently, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is being implemented in pilot phase in six Union Territories.
The nation-wide rollout of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission coincides with NHA celebrating the third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).

2. Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) visit to Oman from 27-29 September 2021

Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), arrived in Oman for a three-day official visit from 27 – 29 Sep 21. The visit aims to consolidate bilateral defence relations with Oman, as also to explore new avenues for defence cooperation.
The CNS is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with his counterpart Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser bin Mohsen Al-Rahbi, Commander of Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) in Muscat.

As the Cyclonic Storm ‘Gulab’ formed in the Bay of Bengal is expected to make landfall between North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coast in the next 12 hours, the Indian Navy is closely monitoring the movement of the Cyclonic Storm.
As part of the preparedness, Flood Relief Teams and Diving Teams are prepositioned at Odisha and are ready at Visakhapatnam to render immediate assistance.

The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the price of sugarcane by Rs 25 per quintal in the state. This announcement was made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The state government has increased the price of sugarcane from rupees 325 per quintal to 350 per quintal.

With the administration of 38,18,362 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed the landmark of 86Cr (86,01,59,011) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.
Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 97.78%. Recovery Rate is currently at its highest peak since March 2020. 26,041 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
