1. FM Nirmala Sitharaman attends 11th UK-India Economic and Financial Dialogue
  • The 11th India-United Kingdom Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD) was held, virtually chaired by Indian Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman and the United Kingdom Treasury Chancellor Mr. Rishi Sunak.
  • The Indian delegation included Governor RBI, Chairman SEBI, Chairman IFSCA, Secretary Economic Affairs and other representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of External Affairs and Indian High Commission, UK.


2. 5th edition of Indo – Kazakhstan joint military exercise KAZIND-21 held in Training Node Aisha Bibi, Kazakhstan
  • The 5th edition of India – Kazakhstan joint military exercise “KAZIND-21” commenced at Training Node Aisha Bibi, Kazakhstan.
  • This is the 5th Edition of Annual bilateral joint exercise of both Armies and will continue till 10th September 2021. The fourth edition of the exercise was held at Pithoragarh, India in Sep 2019.


3. New Development Bank (NDB) approves Bangladesh as a new member
  • The New Development Bank (NDB) established by the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries in 2015 has approved Bangladesh as its new member. It has now approved the United Arab Emirates, Uruguay and Bangladesh as its first new member countries.

  • The 'Eat Right Station' certification is awarded by FSSAI to railway stations that set benchmarks in providing safe and wholesome food to passengers.


8. Ayush Minister Sarbananada Sonowal launches ‘Y-Break’ Yoga protocol App
  • Union Minister of Ayush Sarbanand Sonowal launched the ‘Y-Break’ mobile application at Vigyan Bhawan.
