1. Ayush Ministry launches “AYUSH AAPKE DWAR” Campaign
  • Ayush Ministry launched the campaign “AYUSH AAPKE DWAR” from more than 45 locations across the country.
  • Union Minister of State, for Ayush Dr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai launched the campaign from Ayush Bhawan by distributing medicinal plants to staff.


2. India, US sign Project Agreement for Air-Launched Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
  • India and US signed a Project Agreement (PA) for Air-Launched Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (ALUAV) under the Joint Working Group Air Systems in the Defence Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI). 
  • Project Agreement signed between Ministry of Defence and US Department of Defence under Defence Technology & Trade Initiative (DTTI).


3. Ladakh Administration sign MoU with BRO for upgradation of road network in UT
  • Ladakh Administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for upgradation and improvement of the road network in the union territory.


4. 28th edition of Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise ‘SIMBEX’ held from 02 to 04 Sep 2021
  • The 28th edition of Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX) was conducted from 02 to 04 Sep 21.
  • The Indian Navy was represented by Guided Missile Destroyer INS Ranvijay with a ship borne helicopter, ASW Corvette INS Kiltan and Guided Missile Corvette INS Kora and one P8I Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft.


5. APEDA inks MoUs with ICAR-Indian Institute of Millet Research
  • Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICAR-Indian Institute of Millet Research (ICAR-IIMR) which is expected to boost value addition and farmers’ income. 
  • The key focus of the MoU would be to promote commercial cultivation of processable varieties developed by ICAR-IIMR for exports which is expected to promote value addition of millets, a cereal with high nutritive value.


6. India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 67.72 Cr; Recovery Rate currently at 97.43%
  • With the administration of 58,85,687vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has surpassed the cumulative figure of 67.72Cr (67,72,11,205) as per provisional reports till 7 am today. This has been achieved through 70,88,424 sessions.
  • Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 97.43%. 42,618 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.


7. Tokyo Paralympics 2020: Manish Narwal wins Gold, Singhraj bags Silver in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event
  • Indian Para Shooter Manish Narwal won the Gold medal and Singhraj Adhana won Silver medal in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event at Tokyo Paralympics Games 2020.
  • Singhraj becomes the second Indian after Avani Lekhara to win two medals at the Tokyo Paralympics.
