Aadi Mahotsav to be held in Dilli Haat, New Delhi from Nov 16 to 30, 2021      

“Aadi Mahotsav”, a mega National Tribal Festival will be held in Dilli Haat, New Delhi from November 16 to 30, 2021. The “Aadi Mahotsav” festival was inaugurated by Sukhram Munda, The Grandson of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at 6.30 pm on November 16, 2021.

The Aadi Mahotsav – A Celebration of the Spirit of Tribal Culture, Crafts, Cuisine and Commerce – is a successful annual initiative that was commenced in 2017. The festival is an attempt to familiarise the people with the rich and diverse craft, culture of the tribal communities across the country, in one place.

The November 2021 edition will also showcase the rich and diverse heritage of our tribes across the country as seen in their art, handicrafts, natural produce and delectable cuisine. With over 200 stalls, it is expected that once again 1000 tribal artisans and artists will be participating in the 15-day festival.


PM Modi inaugurate first Global Innovation Summit of Pharmaceuticals sector  

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the First Global Innovation Summit of the Pharmaceuticals sector on 18th November 2021 via video conferencing.

This is a distinctive initiative that aims to bring together key Indian and international stakeholders from the government, industry, academia, investors, and researchers to discuss and strategize priorities to foster a thriving innovation ecosystem in the pharmaceuticals industry in India. It will also highlight the opportunities in the Indian pharma industry that has huge growth potential.

The two-day Summit will have 12 Sessions and over 40 national and international speakers deliberating on a range of subjects including the regulatory environment, funding for innovation, industry-academia collaboration, and innovation infrastructure.

It will witness participation of leading members from domestic and global Pharma Industries, officials, investors and researchers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, John Hopkins Institute, IIM Ahmedabad and other eminent institutes.


Giriraj Singh inaugurates National Workshop on Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme  

Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Giriraj Singh inaugurated 'Bhumi Samvaad' - National Workshop on Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme (DILRMP) today at India Habitat Centre.

Key Highlights

As per information, as of today, substantial progress has been achieved in different components of the programme wherein computerization of land records is completed in 600811 villages against a total of 656190 villages, digitization of cadastral Maps/FMBs is completed in 1.11 crore Maps against a total number of 1.63 crore Maps, computerization of Sub Registrar Office completed in 4883 offices against a total number of 5220, Integration of Sub Registrar Office and Revenue Office completed for 3975 Sub Registrar Offices against a total number of 5220, Establishment of Modern Record Room completed in 2508 Tehsil/Revenue Offices against a total number of 6712, Survey/Re-survey completed in 74789 villages against a total number of 656190 villages.


India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 113.68 Cr; Recovery Rate currently at 98.28%

With the administration of 67,82,042 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 113.68 Cr (1,13,68,79,685) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.

The recovery of 12,134 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,38,73,890.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.28%. 10,197 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The Active Caseload is presently at 1,28,555 is lowest in 527 days. Active cases presently constitute 0.37% of the country's total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March 2020.

The Weekly Positivity Rate at 0.96% remains less than 2% for the last 54 days now. The Daily Positivity rate reported to be 0.82%. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for the last 44 days and below 3% for 79 consecutive days now.
