  • Devi lifted a total of 198kg (84114) to finish second behind Nigeria's Adijat Olarinoye who had an effort of 203kg (90113) in the Commonwealth Championships.

10. India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage nearly 132 Cr; Recovery Rate currently at 98.36%
  • With the administration of 76,36,569 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 131.99 Cr (1,31,99,92,482) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.
  • The recovery of 9,265 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,41,14,331.
  • Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.36%, highest since March 2020. 7,992 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
