Election Commission announces Assembly Elections 2022 schedule for Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh

The Election Commission has announced the dates for the assembly elections in five states: Election Commission of India announced the schedule for General Election to Legislative Assemblies 2022 of Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. Counting of votes for all 5 states will be held on March 10.

Voting for the assembly elections 2022 will be held in Uttar Pradesh from February 10 to March 7 in seven phases, while in Uttarakhand, Punjab and Goa, polling will be conducted in one-phase on February 14. Manipur will vote in two phases on February 27 and March 3.

Counting of votes for all 5 states will be held on March 10 and results will be declared on the same day.
