Henley Passport Index 2022: According to the latest report released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Henley & Partners, Indian passport has been ranked 83rd in the list of world's most powerful passports.

World's most powerful passports ranking 2022: India's ranking has improved by 7 places. Indian passport was ranked 90th in 2021. This time it is at 83rd position. Indian citizens can travel visa free to 60 countries.

Indian citizens can travel to 60 countries without a prior visa. Last year the number was 58. This year, Oman and Armenia have allowed Indians to travel without prior visas.

Japan and Singapore top the list of world's most powerful passports as it got the first rank for the year 2022. The visa-free score of both countries is at 192.

Iraq (rank 110), Afghanistan (rank 111), Pakistan (rank 108) have been ranked as the worst passports in the world in 2022.
