India’s contribution of USD 72,124 to UNESCO Fund for Elimination of Doping in Sport in 2022
As per the resolution of 7COP held at Paris, 29-31 September, 2019, the State Parties had agreed for 1% of the contribution of the regular budget of respective nations to UNESCO towards the Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport.
The Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has released an enhanced contribution of India to UNESCO Fund for Elimination of Doping in Sport to twice the assessed value i.e. USD 72,124 in 2022. First time in 2021, the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports made a contribution of USD 28172 towards the UNESCO Fund on the basis of a request received from UNESCO.

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) signed a Partnership Agreement of Cancer Patient Navigation Program to improve cancer care in Indonesia, in Mumbai, on the World Health Day (April 7th). The MoU was signed with Dharmais National Cancer Hospital and PT Roche Indonesia, virtually.
‘Patient navigation’ is individualized assistance offered to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers.

Jal Shakti Minister Shekhawat to Chair Regional Conference With 11 States/UTs at Jaipur
The Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will be chairing a Regional Conference with 8 States and 3 UTs at Jaipur on 8th April, 2022 to review the progress achieved and way forward under Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin.

IFSCA inks MoU with GVFL Limited for strengthening the FinTech ecosystem in GIFT IFSC
The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and GVFL Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at IFSCA’s office at Gift City for co-operation and collaboration to support and facilitate the FinTech ecosystem in GIFT IFSC.
This MoU focuses on collaboration between the two organisations for exchange of information and undertaking diverse initiatives as regards FinTech industry including holding seminars, webinars, conferences, etc., for the growth of FinTech in the GIFT IFSC.
The MoU also provides scope for guidance, mentorship and other spectrum of support to the FinTechs working in the accelerator(s)/Cohorts operating in GIFT IFSC and the entities in the regulatory sandbox of IFSCA. Most importantly, the MoU provides an impetus for fostering and amplifying the investment ecosystem in GIFT IFSC.
India’s COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 185.38 Cr; Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.76%
India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 185.38 Cr (1,85,38,88,663) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.
COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March, 2022. So far, more than 2.11 Cr (2,11,28,977) adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
India’s Active Caseload declines to today 11,492 Active cases now constitute 0.03% of the country's total Positive Cases. 1,109 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.76%. 1,213 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 4,25,00,002.
The Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 0.23% and the Daily Positivity rate is also reported to be 0.24%.
