President Kovind appointed Vinay Kumar Saxena as new LG of Delhi

President Ram Nath Kovind appointed Vinay Kumar Saxena as the new Lieutenant Governor (LG) of National Capital Territory of Delhi after Anil Baijal resigned.

The President of India Ram Nath Kovind has accepted the resignation of Anil Baijal as Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Anil Baijal was made the Lieutenant Governor in December 2016. He held this position for more than 5 years.

Vinay Kumar Saxena is currently the Chairperson of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. Saxena will replace Anil Baijal.
