The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the appointment of Anish Dayal Singh as DG of ITBP on 1 October.

Anish Dayal Singh is a 1988 batch Indian Police Service officer of Manipur cadre.

IPS Anish Dayal Singh is the 32nd Chief of the Central Armed Police Force - ITBP was raised in 1962 and primarily deployed to guard the India-China Borders.
