Bharat Biotech launches India's first intra-nasal COVID vaccine iNCOVACC 

Bharat Biotech launched the country’s first intra-nasal COVID-19 vaccine iNCOVACC for a primary as well as heterologous (mix-and-match) booster dose in India.

It is the world's first nasal COVID-19 vaccine approved as a primary two-dose regimen and as a heterologous booster after two doses of Covishield or Covaxin.

The iNCOVACC costs states and the Center Rs 325 per dose. In the same private market, the cost of the vaccine is Rs.800 per dose.


Egypt to allot land to Indian industries in Suez Canal special economic zone 

Egypt plans to allot land to Indian industries in the Suez Canal special economic zone. A joint statement released by the two countries at the summit meeting said that the Indian side can arrange the master plan for the proposal.

The proposal is in the context of India's offer to encourage its companies, which have the potential to undertake overseas investments, to make use of the available investment opportunities in Egypt. The statement said, Egypt welcomes the flow of more Indian investments and promises to offer incentives and facilities as per applicable regulations and frameworks.


SCO Film Festival to be held in Mumbai from 27-31 Jan 2023 

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, SCO, Film Festival will be held in Mumbai from 27th to 31st January 2023.

The SCO Film festival is being organised by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting through the National Film Development Corporation to mark India’s Presidency at SCO.

A total of 57 Films from member countries, including 14 from the competition section, will be showcased at the SCO Film Festival.


30th National Child Science Congress begins in Ahmedabad 

The 30th National Child Science Congress has started in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This five-day program is being organized at Science City and will conclude on 31st January 2023.

The National Child Science Congress program will be hosted by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), the Gujarat Council of Science City, and SAL Education.

6-days Bharat Parv event to open for the public today at Red Fort 

Bharat Parv, displaying the cuisine and culture of different states, will open for the public today at Red Fort in New Delhi. 

The 6-days Bharat Parv event was inaugurated by Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy. It is being organized till the 31st of this month as part of the Republic Day Celebrations.

England Test captain Ben Stokes and England women all-rounder player Nat Sciver are among the winners in the International Cricket Council's annual awards.

Ben Stokes has been named Men's Test Cricketer of the Year while women all-rounder player Nat Sciver won the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year.
