India surpasses Japan to become 3rd largest auto market globally  

As per media reports, India has surpassed Japan in terms of auto sales last year to become the third-largest auto market globally for the first time. India’s total sales of new vehicles stood at around 4.25 million units, based on preliminary results, topping the 4.2 million sold in Japan.

DPIIT to organize Startup India Innovation Week from 10th to 16th Jan 2023

HM Amit Shah inaugurated 5 development projects in Nagaland 

HM in Nagaland Live Updates: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated 5 different development works worth Rs.52 crore in Nagaland. 

These include Virtual Reality (VR) laboratories in 42 government higher secondary schools at a cost of about Rs 8 crore, Atal Tinkering Labs built at a cost of Rs 1 crore 80 lakh in 9 government higher secondary schools, 12.5 megawatt (MV) sub-station at Chiephobozou at a cost of Rs 14 crore, trekking and base camp at Mount Saramati, Thanamir village and Kiphire and two Lane bridge on Doyang River at a cost of Rs 28 crore near to the Governor's Camp Lifayan. 


Veteran journalist, Madhuriben passes away at 92

Veteran journalist Madhuriben Kotak has passed away in Juhu, Mumbai. She was 92. Madhuriben, who started her career in photography, became very popular as a female photographer in the 60s and 70s.
