PM Modi to inaugurate the 14th edition of Aero India 2023 in Bengaluru  

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajasthan on 12th February and Karnataka on 13th February. On 12th February, PM Modi will reach Dausa to lay the foundation stone and dedicate it to nation road development projects worth more than Rs. 18,100 crore.

On 13th February, PM Modi will inaugurate the 14th edition of Aero India 2023 at Air Force Station, Yelahanka in Bengaluru.

About Aero India 2023

Aero India 2023 will witness participation by more than 80 countries. Ministers of about 30 countries and 65 CEOs of global and Indian OEMs are likely to participate in Aero India 2023.

Aero India 2023 exhibition will witness participation of more than 800 Defence companies including around 100 foreign and 700 Indian companies. The Indian companies participating in the exhibition include MSMEs and start-ups, which will showcase the advancement of niche technologies, growth in aerospace and defence capabilities in the country. 

Major exhibitors in Aero India 2023 include Airbus, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Lockheed Martin, Israel Aerospace Industry, BrahMos Aerospace, Army Aviation, HC Robotics, SAAB, Safran, Rolls Royce, Larsen & Toubro, Bharat Forge Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and BEML Limited.


Direct Tax Collections for FY 2022-23 at ₹15.67 lakh crore 

The provisional figures of Direct Tax collections up to 10th February, 2023 continue to register steady growth. Direct Tax collections up to 10th February, 2023 show that gross collections are at Rs. 15.67 lakh crore which is 24.09% higher than the gross collections for the corresponding period of last year.

Direct Tax collection, net of refunds, stands at Rs. 12.98 lakh crore which is 18.40% higher than the net collections for the corresponding period of last year. This collection is 91.39% of the total Budget Estimates of Direct Taxes for F.Y. 2022-23 and 78.65% of the Revised Estimates of Direct Taxes for F.Y. 2022-23.


President Droupadi Murmu to visit Uttar Pradesh from February 12 to 13 

The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu will visit Uttar Pradesh from February 12 to 13, 2023.

On February 12, 2023, the President will grace the Valedictory Session of UP Global Investors Summit-2023 in Lucknow. On the same evening, she will attend a civic reception to be hosted in her honour by the Government of Uttar Pradesh at Lok Bhavan, Lucknow.

On February 13, 2023, the President will grace the 10th convocation of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. Before returning to Delhi, she will also visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and attend Ganga Aarti at Varanasi.
