ISRO successfully conducts flight test of CE-20 cryogenic engine

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully conducted the flight acceptance hot test of the CE-20 cryogenic engine. The Engine will power the Cryogenic Upper Stage of the LVM3 launch vehicle for the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

Key Highlights

The test was conducted on February 24 at the High Altitude Test Facility of the ISRO Propulsion Complex at Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu.

As per the ISRO the hot test was carried out for a planned duration of 25 seconds at the High Altitude Test Facility. All the propulsion parameters during the test were found satisfactory and closely matched with predictions.....Read More

India's GDP grows at 4.4% in October-December

India's Gross Domestic Production registered a growth of 4.4% in the October-December third quarter of the current fiscal data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme.

At 4.4 percent, the latest quarterly growth number is lower than the 6.3 percent growth that was witnessed in the second quarter of 2022-23.

RBI imposes ₹1 lakh penalty on Vyaparik Audhyogik Sahakari Bank

The Reserve Bank of India (RBl) has imposed, by an order dated February 20, 2023, a monetary penalty of ₹1.00 lakh (Rupees One lakh only) on Vyaparik Audhyogik Sahakari Bank Limited, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) for contravention of/ non-adherence with the Directions issued by RBI to Urban Co-operative Banks on Exposure Norms & Statutory/Other Restrictions-UCBs and Investments by Primary (Urban) Co-operative Banks.
