India and France Conduct Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) in Arabian Sea

A Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) was conducted between French Navy, informally La Royale and Indian Navy in the Arabian Sea. The partnership exercise was conducted on 10 to 11 March 2023.

Indian Navy’s indigenously built guided missile frigate, INS Sahyadri participated in a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) with French Navy (FN) ships FS Dixmude, a Mistral Class Amphibious Assault Ship and FS La Fayette, a La Fayette Class Frigate, in the Arabian Sea.

95th Oscars Academy Awards: India's Naatu Naatu from RRR wins Oscar for Best Original Song

In 95th Oscars Academy Awards ceremony, India's 'Naatu Natu song' from SS Rajamouli's film RRR made history by becoming the first Indian film to win an Oscar for best original song.

RRR is the first Indian film in over two decades to be nominated for the Academy Awards while 'Naatu Naatu' was the first Indian song to be nominated at the Oscars Award 2023.

The 'Naatu Natu song' was competing against Applause from the film Tell It Like A Woman, Hold My Hand from the movie Top Gun: Maverick, Lift me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and This Is Life, from Everything, Everywhere All At Once.

Before this, The Indian film RRR's super hit song Natu Natu has won the prestigious Golden Globe award for Best Original Song.

PM Modi lays foundation stone various projects in Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects in Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka.

The projects include dedicating to the nation IIT Dharwad whose foundation stone was also laid by PM Modi in February 2019, the longest railway platform in the world at 1507m in length at Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Station which has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records recently, the electrification of Hosapete – Hubballi – Tinaighat section and the upgradation of Hosapete station, for boosting connectivity in the region.

PM Modi also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various projects of Hubballi-Dharwad smart city. He also laid the foundation stone of the Jayadeva Hospital and Research Centre, the Dharwad Multi Village Water Supply Scheme, and Tupparihalla Flood Damage Control Project.
