The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has signed a contract with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for the procurement of Air Defence Fire Control Radars for the Indian Army, worth approx. Rs. 2,000 crore, under the Buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed Developed and Manufactured) category. With minimum 70% indigenous content, these Air Defence Fire Control Radars will be able to detect all forms of air-borne threats, including fighter aircraft, attack helicopters and enemy drones.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has signed a contract with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for the procurement of Air Defence Fire Control Radars for the Indian Army, worth approx. Rs 2,000 crore, under the Buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed Developed and Manufactured) category.

The Defence Ministry's Rs 2,000 crore contract with BEL for Air Defence Fire Control Radars for the Indian Army is a significant milestone in the modernisation of Air Defence Regiments and will enhance the operational readiness of the Indian Army, as well as contribute to the economic growth of the nation.
