Prem Singh Tamang Sworn in as new Sikkim Chief Minister

The president of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), Prem Singh Tamang, who is popularly known as PS Golay was sworn in as the 6th Chief Minister of Sikkim.

Prem Singh Tamang party secured 17 seats out 32 in the Assembly polls against Sikkim Democratic Front(SDF).

The SKM party had won 17 of the 32 Assembly seats in the recent Assembly elections.
