1. India and Uzbekistan sign Security Cooperation Agreement
  • India and Uzbekistan sign Security Cooperation Agreement in New Delhi. A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Pulat Bobojonov, met the Indian delegation, led by Union Minister for Home Affairs, Amit Shah, in New Delhi. 
  • Mr. Bobojonov is on a bilateral visit to India from November 20-23, 2019.


2. NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 held in Manesar
  • The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) is organizing the NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 from 27th to 29th November, 2019 at Center 2 in Manesar, Gurugram.
  • The objective of the Summit is to share new ideas, learnings, global experiences, innovations and future technology trends for the faster adoption, assimilation and development of advanced Automotive Technologies for a smarter and greener future.


3. Cabinet approves MoU between India and Finland for strengthening cooperation in the field of Tourism
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for strengthening cooperation in the field of Tourism.


4. Cabinet approves Taxation Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the proposal for introducing the Taxation Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019 in order to replace the Ordinance.


5. Cabinet approves the Industrial Relations Code Bill, 2019
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval for introduction of the Industrial Relations Code, 2019 in the Parliament.
  • Setting up of two-member tribunal (in place of one member) introducing a concept that some of the important cases will be adjudicated jointly and the rest by a single member resulting


6. Cabinet approves the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Property Rights of Residents in Unauthorised Colonies) Bill, 2019
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the proposal to introduce the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Property Rights of Residents in Unauthorised Colonies) Bill, 2019 during the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament. This Bill will help in allowing the registration of properties and provide certain relief to the residents in Unauthorised Colonies (DCs) of Delhi from Registration Charges and Stamp Duty. speedier disposal of cases.
  • The above relief provisions will benefit more than 40 lakh people living in 1,731 Unauthorised Colonies of Delhi.


7. Cabinet approves establishment of the National Institute of Sowa Rigpa (NISR) at Leh
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the establishment of the National Institute for Sowa-Rigpa in Leh as an autonomous organization under the Ministry of AYUSH.
  • Consequent to the formation of Ladakh as Union Territory and for the promotion of native culture of Ladakh, it has been decided by the Government of India to promote Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine by establishing a National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa (NISR) at Leh, Union Territory of Ladakh at an estimated cost of Rs.47.25 crore.


8. Cabinet approves the Patent Prosecution Highway programme
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the proposal for adoption of Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) programme by the Indian Patent Office (IPO) under the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, India (CGPDTM) with patent offices of various other interest countries or regions.


9. Cabinet approves Ex post facto the proposal for the MoU between India and Comoros on cooperation in the field of Health and Medicine
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today approved the proposal ex-post-facto on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of the republic of India and the Government of the Union of Comoros on cooperation in the field of Health and Medicine signed in Moroni, Comoros on 11th October, 2019 during the Hon’ble Vice President of India’s state visit to Comoros.


10. Udan 4.0 to Offer Priority Routes Connecting Bilaspur and Ambikapur Airports in Chhattisgarh
  • Hardeep S Puri, Minister of State (I/C) for Civil Aviation, in a review meeting of UDAN discussed demands received for connectivity of Bilaspur and Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh. 
  • UDAN scheme focuses on states having unconnected regions. Chhattisgarh is one of the focus states for Ministry of Civil Aviation. The Ministry will soon be starting bidding for UDAN 4.0 under which prescribed priority routes in Chhattisgarh would be offered for bidding.


11. Om Birla, Speaker LS and Dr. Harsh Vardhan inaugurate Health Awareness and Check-up Camp at Parliament House
  • Om Birla, Speaker Lok Sabha along with Dr. Harsh Vardhan Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Ashwini Kumar Choubey, MOS (HFW) and Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of State for Finance inaugurated a Health Awareness and Check-up Camp at Parliament House that shall provide health awareness and diagnostic services to the Parliamentarians.


12. Harsh Vardhanand, Dharmendra Pradhan to inaugurate the Global Bio-India Summit
  • Union Minister for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the Global Bio-India Summit, 2019.
  • The three-day event has been organized by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology,Government of India along with its Public Sector Undertaking, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).
