  • National School of Drama's 11th edition of Bal Sangam will be held from 9th-12th November 2019.

  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given ex-post facto approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Paraguay for Strengthening Cooperation in the field of Tourism. 
  • The MoU was signed in New Delhi on 27th September, 2019.

  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given ex-post facto approval for the MoUs between India and German for collaboration in the field of Occupational Diseases, Re-habilitation and vocational training of Insured Persons with disabilities.

  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given ex-post facto approval for the MoU between India and Bangladesh on withdrawal of 1.82 cusec of water from Feni River by India for drinking water supply scheme for Sabroom town Tripura, India.

  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Brazil in the field of Health and Medicine. The MoU is expected to be signed in November, 2019.


8. Cabinet approves MoU between India and Switzerland on Technical Cooperation in the field of Climate Change and Environment
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given ex-post facto approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Switzerland on Technical Cooperation in the field of Climate Change and Environment. The MoU was signed in Switzerland on 13th September, 2019.

  • The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given approval for the MoU between India and Guinea in the field of Renewable Energy.


10. Cabinet approves Special Window for funding of stalled Affordable and Middle-Income housing projects
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today approved the establishment of a 'Special Window' fund to provide priority debt financing for the completion of stalled housing projects that are in the Affordable and Middle-Income Housing sector.
  • For the purposes of the fund, the government shall act as the Sponsor and the total commitment to be infused by the Government would be upto INR 10,000 crore.

  • Minister of State for Human Resource Development Sanjay Dhotre launched Shaala Darpan portal, an E-Governance school automation and management system for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) in New Delhi.
  • This Single integrated platform has been developed for information sharing and knowledge dissemination for the 22000 employees and over 2 lakh students across schools and offices of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
