ECI: Umesh Sinha has been re-employed as the Deputy Election Commissioner (DEC) after the approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the re-employment Umesh Sinha on a contract basis for one year with effect from January 1, 2020, and up to December 31, 2020.
