Goldman Sachs cuts India’s growth forecast for FY 21 to 1.6% from 3.3%

According to the Goldman Sachs an American multinational investment bank and financial services company, cuts India’s growth forecast for Financial Year (FY) 21 from 3.3% to 1.6% due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, lockdown.

Goldman Sachs released an estimate of 3.3% growth on 22 March.  In the new estimate it says that 1.6% growth will be worse than the recession of 1970, 1980 and 2009.

गोल्डमैन साक्श एक अमेरिकी बहुराष्ट्रीय निवेश बैंक और वित्तीय सेवा कंपनी के अनुसार, कोविड-19 महामारी, लॉकडाउन के प्रभाव के कारण वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के लिए भारत की जीडीपी ग्रोथ का अनुमान 3.3% घटकर सिर्फ 1.6% तक रह सकता है।
